Who We Are
Officially formed and established in 2022, ZMMAA- Zimbabwe, Mixed Martial Arts Association, is the only official governing body for the sport of MMA – Mixed Martial Arts in Zimbabwe. Our story began in 2018 when we established roots when the conversation started due to the popularization of the sport in recent years. ZMMAA Preseident (Felix .M. Matsitsiro) and Secretary General (Wayne .B. Kademaunga) persuaded the SRC – Sports and Recreation Commission to get the needed approval and recognition.
Our story is still being written. There is so much potential in Zimbabwe, which has many champions in various promotions worldwide. Moreover, to have a sportsman of the year in a row even before the sport was recognized officially in Zimbabwe.
